Senate District 34 is a tale of two Denvers.

In the north, the faces are whiter, the rents are higher, and the culture is getting bulldozed by breweries and boutique gyms. In the south, it’s barking dogs, broken sidewalks, and young families holding the neighborhood together on grit and love. Our community s one in which where $7 lattes and EBT cards exist just a few blocks apart. One side feels like Denver’s future; the other like it’s being erased.
